About

The Friends of Maxwell Hall

People with a special love for Maxwell Hall have come together through the Friends of Maxwell Hall, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit volunteer organization. We support Maxwell Hall by hosting a variety of programs, open houses, and special events at Maxwell Hall in order to share this historic treasure with the people of Southern Maryland and neighboring communities.

The Friends look forward to expanding its role, in partnership with Charles County government, as interpreter and steward of Maxwell Hall. The Friends also recognize that interpretation and stewardship are means to a greater end—making a difference in the lives of individuals and society. Membership in the Friends of Maxwell Hall is open to all.
